Sophistiplate Acquires Maple Leaf At Home

Sophistiplate has acquired Maple Leaf at Home, a provider of custom engravable tabletop entertaining products made in the USA.

The company noted that Maple Leaf at Home, which marks its 10th anniversary this year, is known for its assortment of personalized premium serving boards, cheeseboards, glassware and additional accessories.

“The addition of the Maple Leaf at Home assortment as a complement to our product portfolio is an exciting next step in Sophistiplate’s growth,” said Daniel Seehoff, founder and CEO at Sophistiplate. “By bringing single-use and premium reusable products to the same table, we broaden our assortment while staying true to our mission— to bring people of all walks of life together at the same table to break bread.”

Sophistiplate said it plans to consolidate all marketing, sales and operational functions in the next few months, and will share their new categories with its existing customer base in specialty gift, gourmet grocery, and housewares.
