Spectrum Brands featured a handful of new kitchen electrics at the company’s annual Holiday Showcase held Wednesday, July 13, in New York City, with a focus on appliances that offer multiple features.
Among the new small appliances previewed is the company’s Black + Decker natural convection technology toaster oven that is said to provide even cooking and improved airflow.
The toaster oven features EvenToast technology that uses proprietary heat diffusers and is designed to disperse heat and infrared energy throughout the oven to optimize toasting, according to the company. It also features four functions— bake, broil, toast and keep warm— and is designed to fit up to four slices of toast or a 9-inch pizza.
From Spectrum’s George Foreman assortment, the company showcased its Grill & Broil lineup. According to the company, the new line combines the features of a contact grill with the convenience of countertop broiling.
The Grill & Broil unit is equipped with five ceramic grill plates— grill, Panini, broil, waffle maker and griddle— that are dishwasher safe, the company said.
