Staples is providing professionals and small business operators a new way to get the job done. The office superstore has opened three initial Workbar at Staples locations in the Boston area.
The Workbar at Staples locations, provided in remodeled Danvers, Norwood and Brighton stores, range in size from 2,500 to 3,500 square-feet and include a custom-designed mix of high-end workspaces, conference rooms, private phone rooms, fast and secure Wi-Fi, printers and natural light, as well as coffee and tea, to keep the connectivity and productivity flowing for users.
Staples asserted that the Workbar facilities offer small business customers, independent professionals, startups and the growing mobile workforce productive operating environments.
For potential users, Workbar at Staples membership costs $130 per month. The price includes use of a single Workbar station at the Staples location, along with supporting elements, and two days access to the 15 other Workbar network locations throughout greater Boston. Membership also includes two hours of access to room space users can reserve. For $100 more, members can purchase an additional 10 hours of reservable room access. Through October 1, Staples is offering a $100 per month founding member deal, including 10 hours of meeting room time, for the first three months following sign up.
