To promote and leverage its brand, Staples is establishing licensing agreements with solutions-oriented services and products.
Under the new program, Staples stated that it would ensure that licensors uphold the quality and value associated with its brand by applying a rigorous process of partner vetting and product approvals. Among the benefits to the retailer, the licensing program will help Staples provide additional business solutions to its customers.
The initial licensing agreement is with GRM Document Management for Staples Records and Cloud Management, the retailer noted, a service designed to help businesses of any size store and manage records with a focus on security and compliance.
