Staples is collaborating with Workbar, a company that provides office facilities to people who need space to conduct business.
Workbar will operate facilities within select Staples retail locations to serve small business customers, independent professionals, startups and the growing mobile workforce, the retailer stated.
The first three custom-designed Workbar spaces at Staples will launch in Danvers, Norwood and Brighton, MA, in late spring. They will include a mix of high-end workspaces, conference rooms, private phone rooms and more. They will encompass 2,500 to 3,500 square-feet, and offer secure Wi-Fi, printers, and coffee and tea to keep the connectivity and productivity flowing for business customers.
“We’re excited to team up with Workbar to offer business people a productive working environment in our Staples stores by providing convenient, affordable space and amenities so they can make more happen during their workday,” said Peter Scala, evp/merchandising at Staples. “Workbar locations will provide a sense of community and the opportunity to network and collaborate with other motivated professionals.”
