StoreBound recently teamed up with celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian on a new line of cookware. The Zakarian Pro For Home non-stick cast iron cookware collection was recently launched on QVC’s “In the Kitchen With David.”
“This is actually cast iron cookware with a non-stick coating. It wipes clean easily and has all of the benefits of cooking with cast iron but with less maintenance. You can use acidic foods in the pan and you can also bring it oven-to-table,” said Catherine-Gail Reinhard, vp/product strategy and marketing for StoreBound.
According to StoreBound, the cookware can be used indoors or outdoors, on induction, ceramic glass, electric, or gas ranges, grills, and even in the oven. Additionally, the pieces are resistant to acidic food and can handle temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The company recommends the use of silicone, nylon, wood or melamine cooking utensils as to not damage the coating.
The cookware collection is composed of three pieces of cookware, a 10-inch fry pan; 12-inch fry pan; and a 9-by-13-inch baker, which carry a suggested price range of $39 to $69.
According to the company, the Zakarian Pro For Home cookware line will be sold under both the StoreBound and Dash brands.
