Lifestyle retailer Sundance is opening a new store in Kenwood, OH. The metro Cincinnati location will host a grand opening weekend celebration beginning on Thursday, November 14, with a ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m.
The Sundance store chain began as a catalog launched by actor and director Robert Redford, and has made a commitment to nurturing diversity in expression to the artist community, the company noted. Sundance will donate a portion of the proceeds from the grand opening weekend to ArtsWave, a nonprofit group.
The Kenwood Towne Centre store is the first Sundance retail location to service the greater Cincinnati metropolitan and tri-state area, and is one of three new stores it plans to open across the U.S. this year, expanding the chain to 17 stores.
Matey Erdos, CEO, Sundance, said, “We could not be more pleased to be opening our first store in one of the most rapidly growing metropolitan areas in the Midwest, one rich in culture and artistic diversity. With our growing and geographically diverse customer base, it is a delight to bring the beautiful Sundance retail experience to our loyal customers in the states of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.”
