Parents of 11th graders plan to spend the most at $272.82 among pre-collegiate back-to-school shoppers.

August ranked as the most popular month to buy school supplies, with 55.4% of parents saying that’s when they shop. The company noted that 38% of survey respondents said they use online coupons when shopping for school supplies.

Walmart reigns supreme among back-to-school shopping destinations, with 38% of parents designating the retailer as their favorite for the occasion followed by Target at 26% and Amazon at 19%.
