Surya is launching the third installment of its Surya Spaces contest for designers, with the tagline of “Inspiring Spaces Designed by You” and a chance to win up to $1,000 toward company products.
The company created the contest to showcase the design talent of its customers and spotlight the ways that the brand’s accessories, including accent furniture, art, bedding, decorative accents, lighting, mirrors, pillows, rugs and throws, can enhance coordinated spaces.
The photo challenge invites interior designers to submit high-resolution lifestyle images of their professional projects using Surya accessories. A dedicated photo gallery on Surya’s Facebook page will incorporate entries. The one earning the most likes on the company page each week wins promotion across all of Surya’s social media channels.
An in-house judging panel will evaluate the entries based on creativity, design aesthetic and successful integration of Surya accessories. The first prize winner receives a $1,000 product voucher toward their next Surya order, with the second and third place winners earning a $750 and $500 product voucher, respectively.
To enter the contest, Surya design customers must email a professional quality photo of their project along with a 250 character or less description to [email protected] Each photo qualifies as a single entry. Designers are permitted up to three entries each. The contest closes at midnight eastern time on Monday, August 15. Surya will announce the winners on its Facebook page during the last week of August.
“Accessories truly have the power to transform a space,” said Satya Tiwari, president, Surya. “Every day, we see the amazing artistry of the designers who use our rugs and accessories to create spaces that are not only functional but also beautiful. We had such a great response to our Surya Spaces contest last year, and we are excited to once again share our design customers’ projects with a larger audience. Our strong social media presence is the perfect platform for highlighting their creative vision, and we look forward to seeing this year’s entries.”
