Swiss Diamond and Goodwill have launched a nationwide pan buyback program. From July 1 through September 30, consumers may bring in one pan of any brand to receive $20 off purchases of Swiss Diamond products valued at $80 or more.
“Swiss Diamond is very excited to partner with Goodwill for the buyback program. Our retailers are eager to participate in this initiative as it provides a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community. Goodwill strives to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families. This mission will be supported by the used cookware donated through this program,” said Web Browning, national sales director, Swiss Diamond.
The cookware received through this program will be donated to Goodwill, where the items will be sold and the revenues will be used to help fund job training and placement services as well as community-based services, such as financial education and transportation, for people with disabilities and disadvantages.
“Goodwill is grateful to the generosity of consumers looking to change their cookware,” said Jim Gibbons, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries International. “Their donations will have a positive impact on their local communities by creating jobs across the country, and by providing services so that people have the resources they need to build their careers and their futures.”
