A newly released study from The NPD Group’s Checkout Tracking shows that some of the biggest names in retailing and food service have become thoroughly woven into American life, reaching a high percentage of buyers at least once a year with Walmart, McDonald’s and Target on top. Dollar Tree Records Big Gains In Q4

For the fourth quarter ended January 28, Dollar Tree saw earnings, post-merger with Family Dollar, jump to $321.8 million, or $1.36 per diluted share, from $229 million or 97 cents per diluted share, in the year-prior period.
