CVS Health has appointed Neela Montgomery evp/president of CVS Pharmacy/Retail, effective November 30, 2020. Montgomery will oversee the company’s 10,000 pharmacies across the U.S.
Bob’s Discount Furniture has named Bill Barton president and CEO. Barton will succeed Ted English, who has been serving as interim CEO since June, effective November 3, 2020. English will continue in his role as executive chairman and will remain actively involved with the company.
Qurate Retail Group recently appointed Ryan McKelvey as president, Cornerstone Brands. Cornerstone Brands is comprised of four home and lifestyle brands, including Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, and Grandin Road.
The Home Depot has made several executive changes, including naming Edward “Ted” Decker president and chief operating officer, effective October 5, 2020. Decker, a 20-year veteran of the company, has served as executive vice president of merchandising since 2014.
Walgreens Boots Alliance has appointed Richard Ashworth as president of Walgreens. Ashworth will be responsible for developing the strategies and plans for all Walgreens operations and will have full responsibility for the leadership, development and management of the business.
Qurate Retail Group has appointed Leslie Ferraro to the newly created role of president, QxH, effective September 16. In this role, Ferraro will lead Qurate Retail’s largest business unit, comprising its QVC and HSN brands in the U.S., reporting to Mike George, president and CEO, Qurate Retail, Inc.
Ahold Delhaize USA’s Mark McGowan, president of the Stop & Shop supermarket chain, has decided to leave the organization. He will be replaced by Gordon Reid, president of the company’s Giant Food division.
Emerald Expositions, parent company of NY Now, said its board of directors has appointed Sally Shankland to the position of president and CEO. Shankland will assume her new role on June 1, 2019 and will remain a member of the company’s board of directors.
