Target is expanding its private label Threshold brand with kitchenware. Launched recently in stores and online, the Threshold kitchen line includes metal bakeware, cast iron cookware as well as stainless steel and beechwood kitchen tools.
Suggested retail pricepoints for the line range from $2.99 to $49.99, positioning the line as a better option for the consumer in a good-better-best scenario.
The metal bakeware features a non-stick coating, textured surface and is constructed of dishwasher-safe steel. A 12- by 17-inch cookie sheet has a suggested retail price of $7.99.
Included in the cookware offerings are a 12- and 10-inch cast iron skillet with an enamel coating in the company’s signature red color, or white. Three Dutch ovens with similar construction, .25-, 3- and 6-quart, are also included.
Additional kitchenware items include a stainless steel colander, mixing bowl set in both stainless and stoneware, as well as a line of stainless and beechwood kitchen tools that span roughly a 3-ft gadget wall display.
