Target is heading into the upcoming holiday season with a focus on affordable gifts, new brands and updated digital initiatives the retailer said will help consumers simplify their shopping experience.
The company this year will feature an exclusive assortment of nearly 1,700 items priced less than $15 that are positioned as giftable products for women, men, kids and teens along with a host of stocking stuffers priced at $1.
In addition, Target said it would also turn the spotlight on recently introduced private label and branded collections that include the Project 62 home decor line and Hearth & Hand with Magnolia featuring home goods co-designed with Chip and Joanna Gaines. With most items priced less than $30, Hearth & Hand with Magnolia features an array of tabletop, home decor and gifts.
Target is also introducing GiftNow on Target.com. This service allows gift givers the option to click the GiftNow button on products on Target.com and send an e-gift box, which allows the recipient to accept the gift, change the color or size, or choose something entirely different, all before anything ships.
In addition, shoppers can also choose several ways to shop at Target. Among the new initiatives is order pickup, where 95% of online orders are ready for pickup at a store within one hour, according to the company.
