International Market Centers’ TrendWatch forecast program will feature the decor-related themes Ore, Max and Charge at the April 6 to 10 Spring High Point Market.
Ore reflects emerging monochromatic methods of presenting metallic finishes. In the program, the big city chic look is featured in warm color themes.
Maximalism manifests as interiors that are expressive, adventurous and colorful. An eco-aware color palette inspires a mindset celebrating living fully and decorating confidently.
Charge excites notions of dream docking stations for plugged-in kids and tweens. Composed in electric and bright colors, and simple styling, the theme finds expression as cool and clever accessories featuring ample technological smarts.
Products associated with the program will be featured in vignettes at the High Point Market. Event participants will find the vignettes in the walkway between International Home Furnishings Center and Showplace buildings near the market transportation terminal, in the IHFC Green Lobby and in the Suites at Market Square lobby. They also will find the products showcased in print and online publications. A TrendWatch: Spring 2019 seminar will run from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, in the Suites at Market Square seminar room SAMS-T-1014.
“TrendWatch is key for companies looking to identify the trends that ultimately will impact sales and consumer preferences in the home furnishings industry,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC evp, and chief marketing and digital officer. “We’ll bring the trends to life through carefully-curated displays featuring more than 110 products from nearly 60 exhibitors, which highlights the breadth and depth of on-trend product that High Point Market has to offer.”
