To provide a luxe touch, Twin Star Home has brought in Atlanta-based designer Michel Smith Boyd to help it set the company’s showroom for the Winter Las Vegas Market.
Boyd previously worked with Twin Star as part of its multi-designer Style Takeover showroom program. The Style Takeover initiative had designers merchandise the showrooms and create consumer-facing content for its affiliated dealers. At the winter market, Boyd will be the only designer involved in decorating the Twin Star showroom.
Featured on the Bravo network’s “Buying It Blind,” Smith combines sophistication with livability, Twin Star noted. Recognized as one of the country’s top 20 African-American designers, Michel and his work have been featured in Elle Décor, Traditional Home, Vogue, Ebony and the Washington Post.
“We love seeing our product through Michel’s eyes,” said Jimmy Junker, Twin Star vp/product management. “He brings a freshness and accessibility to the showroom setting that retailers can take home and translate to their own store displays.”
