Ulta Slates NYC Herald Square Store Among March Openings

Ulta Beauty is opening a new Herald Square location in New York City on March 5 among 13 store debuts slated by the retailer for March as it advances new product launches and social initiatives.

Although the Herald Square store will be a high-profile location, Florida gets the most new Ulta Beauty outlets in March, with stores opening in Tampa, St. John’s, Panama City and Bradenton.

The store openings accompany such recent Ulta merchandising initiatives as the rollout of the Keys Soulcare, a clean, cruelty-free lifestyle beauty brand from 15-time Grammy-Award winning artist, producer, actress and author Alicia Keys; and ongoing promotion of its recently introduced Conscious Beauty product line, which offers products featuring clean ingredients, cruelty-free development, vegan formulation, sustainable packaging and other positive impacts.

Ulta has been undertaking actions that address social concerns, earlier this month announcing the appointment of Tracee Ellis Ross, CEO and founder of Pattern Beauty, as the company’s diversity and inclusion advisor, to go with a planned investment of more than $25 million in diversity and inclusion efforts.
