Vandor has debuted a Sesame Street home product assortment, a new property in its portfolio of licensed housewares, at the Las Vegas Market. The company is also introducing a line of eco-friendly licensed cups and plates made of bamboo.
“This summer, we are excited to add a license with universal appeal and to offer bamboo products for consumers who would prefer this alternative,” said Lynn Keller, Vandor’s recently appointed licensing director.
The Sesame Street license includes characters such as Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch. The characters will be featured on Vandor’s regular and insulated shopper totes, 14- and 18-ounce Tritan water bottles and oval shaped 18-ounce ceramic mugs.
In addition, Vandor’s new line of bamboo cup and plate sets is made from bamboo fiber and cornstarch. The line offers an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic, while still being dishwasher safe, according to the company. Licenses featured on four-cup sets are Star Wars, Disney/Mickey and Friends, My Little Pony and Marvel. There is also a child’s dinnerware set, which includes a My Little Pony plate, bowl, mug and utensils.
