Versatility Key To Nugeni’s New Steva Vacuum System

CHICAGO— Founded in 2016, Nugeni entered the floor care and cleaning market with the goal of providing consumers an all-in-one, easy to use cleaning solution. After five years of research and development, the company launched its first and signature floor care appliance, the Steva vacuum, at the recent International Home + Housewares Show, here.

“The overall goal for Nugeni is to develop and bring to market innovative electronic home appliances that do a better job, are faster and more convenient to use, safer for the environment and allow people to spend their time on the more important things in life,” said Dan Levitt, CEO and president, Nugeni.

To help consumers worldwide clean up their homes through innovation and design, Levitt said, the versatile Nugeni Steva includes a cordless upright vacuum, steam floor mop, cordless handheld vacuum and mobile steam unit. Both the handheld steamer and the handheld vacuum snap into the universal mop stick, creating the upright cordless vacuum or upright steam mop.

According to the company, the Steva steamer features one of the highest steam temperatures on the market at 248 degrees Fahrenheit and requires no waiting time for the unit to heat up. With a 90% efficiency rate, the company said, the steamer uses just water so consumers can avoid harsh chemicals, and also features a rotating hose handle.

The Steva vacuum features a patented 3D turbine engine designed for lifelong suction and uses less power with better performance than competing vacuums, according to third party testing, the company asserted. The vacuum also has a low noise level of 66 decibels.

Both the vacuum and steamer units are lightweight with ergonomics in mind, and feature 36-degree rotation for increased steering control. The Steva vacuum also includes a HEPA filter for eliminating airborne allergens.

In addition to the steamer and vacuum, the Nugeni Steva comes with a wide range of accessories. Nugeni also launched the Steva+ with additional accessories including a long reach extension wand, hard floor vacuum brush, window and glass squeegee, soft detail brush, brass detail brush, steam extension hose, steam cylinder, fiber cover for steam cylinder and shoulder strap.

In the company’s first year, Levitt said it will focus on educating consumers on what the brand stands for.

“We want people to recognize Nugeni as a brand committed to quality and innovation, and we will begin to make our products available to consumers through a host of national and regional retailers and through our website. We are also continuing to develop new products that are consistent with our brand strategy,” he said.

The Nugeni Steva vacuum has a suggested retail price of $399 and the Steva+ has a suggested retail price of $499. Both models will be available in June 2016.
