Villeroy & Boch Debuts New Moon Dinnerware Collection

Villeroy & Boch has debuted its New Moon dinnerware collection, which is said to be inspired by the asymmetrical crescent moon shape.

The new collection is made of porcelain and is dishwasher- and microwave-safe. It includes six different plates, coffee cups, espresso cups and mugs, with or without handles and matching saucers. In addition, there are six bowls, from small dip bowls to large salad bowls, all of which can be used for various purposes and individually combined. A large, round serving plate completes the assortment.

In addition, the line offers a flatware set that features an ergonomic shape. The triangular shape of the back side means the pieces lie comfortably in the hand and are suitable for right and left-handers. In addition to soup spoons, coffee spoons, dinner knives and forks, there are also cake servers, espresso spoons, serving spoons and salad servers.

A 5-piece set includes soup spoons, coffee spoons, dinner knives and forks and dessert forks. The company also included an unconventional drinking glass collection of clear crystal, including stemmed ware for white or red wine, champagne flutes and a variety of high tumblers. The glassware all have a noticeably bevelled rim.
