Villeroy & Boch has added two new colors to its Lave dinnerware assortment. Lave glacé and Lave beige are said by the company to open consumers up to more design possibilities.
The Lave earthenware dinnerware is described as a new interpretation of the original charm of earthenware, with delicate, gently curving lines, organic shapes and expressive colors. The new colors offer a greater scope for mix and match on the table. Lave glacé is described as a light ice blue, while Lave beige is a warm beige, that can easily combine with the collection’s deep blue Lave bleu and the gray Lave gris.
The dinnerware features a special reactive glaze, applied to the inside and outside surfaces. It creates slight variations in the color and finish of each individual item. The selection includes different plates and bowls as well as a mug, with or without a handle, for authentic effects both on their own or in combination.
