Volvo Cars has partnered with Blueair to bring the company’s Pro XL air purifiers to its showroom locations worldwide, including China, Greece, Switzerland, Norway and Portugal.
The air purifiers can also be found in the meeting rooms on the Volvo Cars stand at the Beijing and Guangzhou motor shows in China, noted Blueair.
“We’re pleased that Volvo Cars has decided to enhance the comfort and health of visitors and staff in its showrooms by naming Blueair as its preferred supplier of indoor air purifiers,” said Jonas Holst, international sales head, Blueair.
The Pro XL, the largest of Blueair’s line of air purifiers, is designed to deliver air purification in large rooms of up to 1,100 square feet, according to the company. The sleek tower-shaped unit utilizes the company’s HEPA-silent technology to trap airborne pollutants using v-shaped filters. Blueair suggested its purifier traps tiny airborne contaminants such as viruses, PM2.5 dust particles, allergens and mold spores.
In addition, it comes with an air intelligence module that Blueair said tests the particle and gas levels of indoor air and will automatically adjust the fan speed to maintain an optimal clean air environment.
Manufactured in Sweden, the Blueair Pro XL has an SRP of $2,500 and is available on the Blueair website and major retailers.
