Wahl has introduced the Bump-Free Shaver, which is part of its multi-cultural line of grooming tools. The shaver is designed to deliver a close shave without razor-bumps, a common issue among African American men, according to the company.
“Our multi-cultural grooming tools are designed to meet the specific needs of African American men and the Bump-Free Shaver is a great example of this,” said Steven Yde, vp/consumer marketing for Wahl. “It’s the first shaver of its kind to provide a close, comfortable shave without the usual skin irritation that often accompanies it.”
Wahl said it developed its Bump-Free Shaver with a hypoallergenic titanium foil, and new blunt-cut technology, both said to reduce inflammation while providing a close shave.
The shaver features a sleek, carbon-fiber appearance and non-slip comfort grip and comes with a full-width pop up trimmer for precise detailing of the side-burns and neckline. The shaver offers a cord/cordless design with 60 minutes of run-time.
Wahl’s line of multi-cultural grooming tools includes the T-Pro Trimmer and Ultra Close Cut Pro Clipper.
The Wahl Bump-Free Shaver has a suggested retail price of $69.99 and is available now.
