Wahl has kicked off its search for the “Next Wahl Real Guy,” the company’s latest social media-led campaign. This year, the company is inviting real guys to share their stories, via an online submission, of living or chasing their dreams, as well as how their grooming habits and the tools they use fit into their journeys.
Those whose submissions are selected by Wahl, will have their story shared as part of the “Real Guys. Real Grooming” campaign, which includes online videos hosted on the Wahl website and social media channels.
“We received tremendous response from our Real Guys campaign and some of that was from guys who wanted to share their personal story, so we decided to give them that opportunity,” said Steven Yde, director of marketing for Wahl.
Winners will also receive an Ultimate Grooming Kit, which includes the latest in men’s grooming tools from Wahl including the Lithium Ion+ Trimmer, Elite Pro Clipper and the MicroGroomsman Detailer.
The Real Guys campaign began two years ago and Wahl currently hosts documentary-style ads and videos featuring a minor baseball team, rodeo employees and the owners of a craft brew company that the company has been following:
