Wahl has joined forces for the second time with Zero: The End of Prostate Cancer to support the charity’s seasonal Grow & Give campaign.
As a sponsor, Wahl said it will be raising money and donating facial hair trimmers to the top fundraisers in the program. To encourage participation in Grow & Give, Wahl is challenging men to start a team and show off their facial fuzz on Twitter or Instagram using #OfficialSponsorOfFacialHair.
Wahl also stated that for every photo shared during the campaign, Wahl will donate $1 to Zero. In addition, participants have the opportunity to receive free grooming tools and “Official Sponsor of Facial Hair” gear. Consumers can participate throughout the month of November.
“One in seven American men will be affected prostate cancer; with numbers like those we are happy to help raise awareness,” said Steven Yde, dvp/consumer marketing for Wahl. “By growing facial hair men can not only support Grow & Give, but their beards and mustaches can spark important conversations, making them walking, talking billboards for the cause.”
According to the charity’s website, Zero: The End of Prostate Cancer, is a national nonprofit organization with the mission to end prostate cancer.
