Walker & Company has launched a Bevel Trimmer, which is designed for multicultural consumers, according to the company.
The company said its Bevel Trimmer is specifically designed for consumers with coarse or curly hair to achieve the most precise cut while helping to prevent bumps or irritation. The proprietary Bevel Trimmer blades are said to be protected with a National Sanitary Foundation-approved, hypoallergenic coating designed to help inhibit bacterial growth. The coating also allows the blade surface and teeth to be easily wiped clean of hair and buildup.
Other features include snap-on/snap-off blades for quick changes and adjustments without any tools; a dial to allow blades to be adjusted; cordless functionality for four or more hours of battery life; and soft-touch grip and custom-faceted body for 360-degree handling and precision.
“We’ve re-engineered an essential grooming tool, creating the most advanced device for trimming and shaping coarse or curly hair. Informed by exhaustive research into what master barbers and our customers alike wanted, Bevel Trimmer is another way we’re delivering on our promise to make health and beauty simple for people of color,” said Tristan Walker, CEO of Walker & Company Brands.
Walker & Company Brands also announced that Nas, a rapper and music artist, joined forces with the company to launch the Bevel Trimmer. Nas is a brand ambassador for the product and is featured alongside his barber, Marcus Harvey, in its introductory video.
The Bevel Trimmer will retail for $179.95, and orders will begin shipping this spring.
