Walker Edison Hires Four As It Builds Out Business

Ready to assemble furniture supplier Walker Edison recently added four new key hires to it team to help propel the company’s growth.

The company has turned customer service into its own department, appointing Olivia Frere director of customer service. Frere has worked customer service for nearly 10 years, most recently as key account manager.

Walker Edison has named Erika Henderson head of design development. She will lead both the design and product management teams, and collaborate with sales, strategy, supply chain and marketing. Her previous roles include working on interiors for Farrell Architecture, director of design for JLA Home and director of product development for Pottery Barn Teen.

Sharat Alankar, former head of marketplace growth strategy and operations for Walmart, joins Walker Edison in the newly created role of vp/strategy and analytics. Alankar will lead corporate business strategy, including assortment strategy, new business development, operational excellence, project management and analytics.

Joshua Bradley will fill another new position as general manager/retail operations. Past retail businesses controller for Amer Sports Corp., he will bring his experience in building out retail stores to bear at the only store aspect of the Walker Edison business, the storefront warehouse attached to the corporate headquarters in West Jordan, UT.
