After expanding its baby product assortment and launching an online shopping experience for the nursery, Walmart is now introducing an all-new baby registry.
The new registry makes it easier for parents to create, manage and add items to their registry, all while adding a personal touch, the company said.
Consumers can create the registry with new personalization features, which will also pre-populate the registry with items personalized to the baby’s gender and the registrant’s preferred nursery theme. Users can also manage the registry with new mobile enhancements, and can initiate returns online, share the registry with friends and family, and use Siri to open the registry. Meanwhile, gift-givers can use the app to shop the registry, search for in-store availability, and scan a store receipt to mark items as purchased.
Walmart also said it has added a range of new brands to the baby registry assortment and Walmart.com over the past year.
