BOSTON— At a time when it is emphasizing unique brands and collections, Wayfair has debuted Hashtag Home, a new collection of trend-forward furniture and home décor developed, the retailer noted, to infuse vibrant style into any domestic space.
Available to Wayfair shoppers in the U.S. and Canada beginning last month, Hashtag Home offers 2,000 colorful furniture and home décor items for living room, kitchen, dining room, bedroom and bath.
Wayfair has positioned the product line as an affordable, trendy collection that consumers can update seasonally to refresh their homes affordably.
“In addition to the core furniture and décor, Hashtag Home will roll out some fun seasonal items,” a Wayfair spokesperson said. In the fourth quarter, Hashtag Home will introduce Christmas trees, ornaments, garland, decorative accents, stockings, accent pillows, wall art and more.”
Consumers can shop the collection by room, color or using other navigation such as favorite finds under $100. Wayfair is presenting the collection as an immersive shopping experience that is fresh, fun and convenient with options such as two-day shipping available as it targets consumers who want home furnishings that allow them to express their personalities across their home.
Wayfair assembled the Hashtag Home collection by tapping feedback on product preferences as expressed by its customers.
“The Hashtag Home line was curated based on our customer’s favorite products and introduced news items to deliver even more selection to Wayfair shoppers,” the spokesperson said.
In developing Hashtag Home, the company targeted shoppers, who are fashion-forward and favor vibrant looks in their furnishings, with an obvious concentration on younger consumers.
Still, the Wayfair spokesman noted, Hashtag Home arrives with no constraints.
“Hashtag Home is really for anyone who likes bright and bold looks, and likes to swap out items based on the season,” the spokesperson said.
