Way Day kicks off at noon eastern time, April 10, ushering in 36 hours of Black Friday-style promotions, related discounts and free shipping. The second annual Wayfair event covers home furnishings, décor, housewares and home improvement products.
New this year, Wayfair customers in the U.S. will be able to watch Wayfair On Air, a livestream of video product presentations and reviews showcasing dozens of popular products ranging from outdoor and indoor furniture to small electrics and other housewares. Wayfair On Air will include 12 hosted episodes throughout the promotion.
Wayfair also will review a new Share & Save feature, giving shoppers the chance to unlock an additional 40% off select products at check-out by sharing deals on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. Wayfair credit card members who shop Way Day deals will earn triple rewards on purchases made with their card.
In addition to its online activities, Wayfair is taking the Way Day celebration on the road this year with the official #WayDayTour, which will run through in Nashville, TN, Jacksonville, FL, and Dallas/Fort Worth. With a purple stretch Way Day limo, the Wayfair team will stop at community events in each market and visit neighborhoods to surprise customers with spring porch makeovers. Residents of the greater Nashville, Jacksonville and Dallas/Fort Worth areas can enter a sweepstakes to win a $2,500 Wayfair gift card by spotting the limo, snapping a photo and uploading it to social channels using #WayDayTour.
