Wayfair Plans New Pop-Up Shops To Inspire Consumers

Wayfair has revealed the sites of the pop up shops it will operate this summer in four retail centers.

Slated to open August 1 for three months, and dubbed Wayfair Decor & Inspiration Shops, the pop-up shops will operate in:

  • Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL
  • Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC
  • King of Prussia in King of Prussia, PA
  • Tysons Corner Center in Fairfax, VA

As previously reported by HomeWorld Business, Wayfair launched its first two pop-up stores, located in Natick, MA, and Paramus, NJ, for the most recent holiday season, and has since advanced a bricks and mortar store strategy.

The pop-ups will encourage consumers to explore hundreds of affordable decor essentials including items they can take home, Wayfair stated. Customers will also have the option to browse Wayfair’s online selection and place orders for delivery.

Fun finds will include unique living room wall art, throw pillows and candles as well as end of summer lounging items, seasonal kitchen elements for hosting football gatherings and bed and bath essentials that can update any space. Wayfair will update the pop-up shop product selection throughout their three-months of operation to offer customers new items to check out each time they visit the mall.

“We are excited to open four new pop-up shop locations across the U.S. this summer,” said Courtney Lawrie, Wayfair director of brand marketing. “The Wayfair Decor & Inspiration Shop will provide our customers a place to go for home ideas and inspiration as well as the chance to shop over 250 budget-friendly and eclectic decor items to purchase in-shop for the first time ever.”
