Williams-Sonoma will be partnering for the 11th consecutive year with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign.
The campaign includes celebrities, media, and more than 70 leading brands and companies asking consumers to donate while they shop during the holiday season to help St. Jude advance research and treatment of childhood cancer.
The campaign is a holiday-focused fundraising effort and has grown into an annual tradition that has raised more than $587 million. To date, Williams-Sonoma has raised over $30 million, and the funds raised this year will be part of the company’s second year of a pledge to raise $30 million over 10 years.
“I am thankful for our customers and our associates, who give so generously to this worthy cause,” said Laura Alber, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. president and CEO.
The campaign will run through December 13. Customers can make donations both in store, online, by telephone, or by purchasing a product or gift card that gives back to St. Jude at any of the company’s stores, including Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, West Elm, Rejuvenation, and Mark and Graham.
“During the holiday shopping season, Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s participation in the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign makes it easy for its customers to help our doctors and scientists continue the research and treatment that leads to cures and gives these children the chance to enjoy many more holidays for years to come,” said Marlo Thomas, national outreach director for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
