Wired magazine is marking the 10th anniversary of its annual pop-up store in New York City, and it is unveiling a new “e-shop” at Los Angeles International Airport to commemorate the milestone. The shop will showcase items hand-selected by Wired editors and curators, including products from the Alessi brand.
Alessi items will include Stefano Giovannoni’s Mami kettle and the Noé wine rack designed by Giulio Iacchetti. The NYC pop-up shop is located at 459 West 14th Street in Manhattan and will run through December 21, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The new e-shop is situated between Terminals 7 and 8 at LAX. From now until December 31, interactive touchscreens will feature products from the 2014 Wired Store collection.
“During the past decade, the Wired Store has become a barometer for the hottest holiday gifts,” said Kim Kelleher, Wired vp and publisher. “It is the ultimate social retail experience, bringing together the most innovative programming and products.”
