World Kitchen has promoted Kris Malkoski to president, global business, and chief commercial officer. Previously, she was the company’s president, North America, and chief innovation officer.
“The new role for Kris Malkoski will better position the company to deliver best-in-category products for consumers around the world,” said Carl Warschausky, president and CEO, World Kitchen. “Kris and her leadership team are laser-focused on three key areas that will propel our business forward: product innovation, connecting with Millennials and global expansion of our brands.”
The company, whose portfolio of housewares brands includes Pyrex, CorningWare, Corelle, Snapware, Baker’s Secret and Chicago Cutlery, stated that its global leadership team will continue to work on the development and implementation of cutting-edge digital marketing, social media, mobile and e-commerce platforms that provide critical competitive advantages for World Kitchen. Additionally, a focus on global process improvements will aid in faster speed-to-market products and will enhance support for global market growth, the company said.
World Kitchen stated that it will also continue to explore dynamic kitchen solutions for a younger Millennial audience across all brands, which includes introducing new technology, improved functionality and trend-setting style and design.
In addition, Austin Rothbard, who recently joined the company from Kohler, which is owned by Baker Furniture, is succeeding Malkoski. Rothbard takes over as World Kitchen’s president of North America household and new product management.
