Wüsthof has expanded its Classic collection with the introduction of a 9-inch Sushi Knife. Precision forged in Solingen, Germany from a single piece of high-carbon, stain-resistant alloy, the Classic 9-inch Sushi Knife features a full tang and was designed specifically to master the art of slicing raw fish and seafood for sushi and sashimi, the company said.
The Classic 9-inch Sushi Knife features a long and slender single-edge blade to ensure control, precision and clean cuts, according to the company. Designed with an angled blade, the knife can also be used for slicing boneless fish, meats and vegetables. The handle is made of Polyoxymethylene, a synthetic material that resists fading and discoloration and was designed for a comfortable and sure grip.
