Zojirushi has debuted a new glass vacuum carafe designed in cooperation with British designer, David Tonge, of The Division.
Made in Japan, the carafe features a high-quality medical-grade borosilicate glass vacuum liner. The liner is said to provide heat retention and repels odors and stains. Other features include an easy-to-use large push button stopper and a sturdy handle.
The carafe has a decagonal shape and will be available in silver, black, red or gold. It will be available in a 34 oz. /1.0-liter capacity, and has a suggested retail price of $82. It will come in will be available late April.
In addition, the company has also added a Thermal Carafe with the newly launched “Ichimatsu Moyo,” or checkered pattern. Also made in Japan, the carafe features a high-quality medical-grade borosilicate glass vacuum liner that provides heat retention and makes the carafe easy to clean, and stain and odor resistant.
Additional features include one-touch pour and a durable handle for easy serving. Available in a 34 oz. /1.0-liter capacity, the carafe comes in Ichimatsu White and Ichimatsu Black. The line will be available in April with a suggested retail price of $46.
